Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program gives provinces and territories the power to select immigrants for permanent residence. The PNP has more than 80 categories, and candidates are selected based on a variety of criteria, including having job opportunities in the province, work experience in high-demand occupations, studying in the province or operating a local business.

Latest PNP Updates 2024
May 22: British Columbia invited 50 candidates in a tech draw, plus up to 29 in targeted occupations in healthcare, childcare, construction and veterinary care.
May 14: British Columbia invited 37 candidates in a general draw across five streams, plus up to 40 in targeted occupations in healthcare, childcare, construction and veterinary care.
May 9: Manitoba invited candidates 371 in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba program (Occupation-specific), the International Education Stream and the Skilled Worker Overseas program.
May 7: British Columbia invited 41 to apply in a tech draw, and 40 candidates in targeted draws for childcare, construction, healthcare, and veterinary care occupations.
May 6: Quebec announced a April 25 draw inviting 1,415 candidates who had a level 7 oral proficiency or higher in French, and either had a score equal to or greater than 598, or a valid job offer outside Montreal.
May 2: Manitoba invited 6 candidates to apply through Labour and Express Entry streams targeting candidates from the Healthcare and Construction sectors.

April 24: Manitoba invited 327 (including 68 Express Entry) candidates to apply to the MPNP, under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
April 23: British Columbia invited around 90 candidates to apply to the BC PNP, under the Express Entry and Skills Immigration categories.
April 23: Ontario issued 211 invitations to apply to candidates under the Foreign Worker stream.
April 18: Prince Edward Island announced that the PEI PNP invited 82 candidates to their PEI Workforce category.
April 18: Quebec invited 1,036 Arrima candidates to apply to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program on April 11.
