British Columbia, Canada, released the outcomes of the most recent draw on September 21, 2022. The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited 356 new skilled worker applicants each week to submit an application for a provincial nomination.
3411 applicants in all were chosen for the regional draw from the skilled worker pool (including Tech occupations). With a minimum score of 60, 11 invitations were sent out to Childcare: Early Childhood Educators and Assistants (NOC 4214).
With a minimum score of 60 and focusing on the healthcare sector, fewer than 5 invitations were sent to skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level employees, and semi-skilled workers (including the EEBC option).
There is a framework in place for expressions of interest for the British Columbia Skilled Worker stream (EOI). Prior to receiving an ITA, candidates will be evaluated and graded using the BC Skills Immigration Ranking System after their profiles have been posted.
Within 30 days of receiving the invitation to apply, candidates are required to submit a complete and final application for the program.
Each applicant must pay $1150 CAD as part of the BC Skilled Worker stream application fee. BC will offer the applicant a provincial nomination for permanent residence if the application is accepted.
