
On May 28, 2024, British Columbia held its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, issuing 70 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates in the skills immigration category. This effort aims to attract skilled workers to address labor market needs. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cutoffs ranged from 80 to 131 points.

Total ITAs: 35 invitations issued
Skilled Worker: Minimum score of 131.
Skilled Worker – EEBC option: Minimum score of 131.
International Graduate: Minimum score of 131.
International Graduate – EEBC option: Minimum score of 131.Express Entry & Semi-Skilled: Minimum score of 110.
Targeted Draw Details:
Childcare (Skilled Worker, International Graduate, including EEBC option): Minimum score of 93; 11 invitations.
Construction: Minimum score of 93; 11 invitations.
Healthcare: Minimum score of 100; 9 invitations.
Veterinary Care: Minimum score of 80; fewer than 5 invitations.
This draw emphasizes filling critical industry gaps in sectors like childcare, construction, healthcare, and veterinary care. Including Express Entry BC (EEBC) options helps expedite the immigration process for candidates in the federal Express Entry system.
Recipients of the ITAs can now apply for provincial nomination, which will award them additional points under the CRS, increasing their chances of obtaining permanent residence from the federal government.
