The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a current draw on October 4th, welcoming a total of 244 applicants.
Candidates for three categories were invited:
Category 1
There were 184 applicants in the general draw, and ITAs were given to skilled workers (including EEBC option) who scored at least 120, international graduates (including EEBC option) who scored at least 105, and entry-level and semi-skilled candidates (including EEBC option) who scored at least 82.
Category 2
A maximum of 55 individuals were drawn in a targeted draw for the target professions of childcare: early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214), healthcare: healthcare assistants (NOC 3413), and other priority professions (NOCs 3114, 3213).
32 of the total ITAs approved were for international graduates and skilled workers (including the EEBC option), 13 were for skilled workers and international graduates who were entry-level and semi-skilled (including the EEBC option), 5 were for skilled workers and international graduates, and 5 were for both (including EEBC option). The needed score was sixty.
Category 3
There are a total of 5 applicants for the Entrepreneur Immigration – Base stream of the BC PNP. It took a minimum score of 116 to pass.
