Applicants who got Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) ratings of at least 516 were sent invitations. Applicants from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) remained qualified to be selected since no specific program was specified for this draw.
The first Express Entry program draw commenced on July 6, and 9,750 applicants have gotten their ITAs ever since. As these selections had been delayed for more than 18 months, only individuals who qualified for permanent residency under the CEC or the Provincial Nominee Program were invited.
