The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) held its second invitation round of the year on February 16 in accordance with the schedule that had been made public. Candidates for the PEI PNP’s most recent draw for skilled workers and entrepreneurs received invitations.
Who was welcomed?
In the latest draw of the Provincial Nominee Program of Prince Edward Island, 228 Invitations To Apply were distributed among eligible candidates. Invitations to Apply were granted to candidates via the PEI PNP streams, which included:
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur: 6 invitations, lowest CRS score of 70.
- Labor & Express Entry: 222 invitations.
The PEI PNP draw on February 16th was a part of Prince Edward Island’s practice of having draws with higher ITAs and lower CRS scores. A major sign that the province has the target to expand the number of applicants eligible to get an Invitation to Apply under PEI PNP-managed sub-programs is the timing of the Prince Edward Island PNP’s anticipated upcoming draw.
