Canada’s IRCC has launched the 2024 IEC, inviting nearly 90,000 youth from 30+ countries to gain work experience. Eligible applicants can now submit profiles for temporary residence and work opportunities in Canada. The IEC operates through three streams—Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op Internships—benefiting Canada’s economy and global youth.

Basic eligibility criteria include citizenship, age range (18-29, 18-30, or 18-35), financial requirements, health insurance, and admissibility to Canada. The program continues to address labor shortages in key sectors, and 2024 may see Finland join as a new partner country.
