The second Skills Immigration draw of July was recently conducted by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), specifically targeting Skilled Workers and International Graduates.
On July 11, 2023, the BC PNP held its latest draw, issuing Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to a total of 207 candidates through the Skills Immigration stream. In order to be eligible for this round of invitations, candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging from 60 to 109.

Category 3: Targeted Draw (Healthcare)
- Total invitations issued: 15
- Streams invited: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
- Minimum score: 60
Category 4: Targeted Draw (Other Priority Occupations – NOCs 31103, 32104)
- Total invitations issued: 5

BC PNP Latest Draw – Selection Factors
Targeted invitations to apply for the Skills Immigration streams may be based on one or more of the following factors:
- Education: Level, field of education, and completion location.
- Eligible professional designations in B.C.
- Language skills.
- Occupation.
- Duration and skill level of work experience.
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer.
- Intent to live, work, and settle in a specific region.
- Strategic priorities: Factors addressing specific labor market needs in B.C. or supporting government pilot projects and initiatives.
The Skills Immigration stream is one of the various immigration streams administered by the province of British Columbia under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). This stream aims to attract skilled workers and international graduates who possess the necessary skills, academic qualifications, and employment experience to contribute to British Columbia’s economy. Eligible candidates may receive a nomination to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency.
British Columbia issues Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the BC PNP’s latest draw are determined based on the needs of the BC PNP application inventory.
