The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) continues to pave the way for skilled individuals to settle in the province. In its most recent Expression of Interest (EOI) draw conducted on August 24, the program issued a total of 623 Letters of Advice across multiple streams. The latest MPNP draw encompassed all three key streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas. These streams cater to a wide range of candidates, ensuring that Manitoba receives talent from both within the province and around the world.
Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream
Occupation-Focused Selection
This category targeted profiles with current employment in Manitoba, specifically in occupations experiencing high labor demand. The draw issued 256 Letters of Advice to candidates meeting these criteria.
– Number of Letters of Advice issued: 256
– Lowest-ranked candidate invited: 612 CRS score
– Eligible NOC 2021 major groups: 73 (General trades), 74 (Mail and message distribution, other transport equipment operators and related maintenance workers), 75 (Helpers and laborers and other transport drivers, operators, and laborers)
All Occupations
Profiles not selected in the occupation-specific selection were considered in this category. The draw issued:
– Number of Letters of Advice issued: 250
– Lowest-ranked candidate invited: 646 ranking score
International Education Stream
This stream welcomed candidates who met the eligibility requirements of the International Education Stream. A total of 63 Letters of Advice were issued under this category.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
Candidates who were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative fell under this stream. The draw issued:

– Lowest-ranked candidate invited: 724 ranking score
Express Entry Integration
Out of the 623 Letters of Advice issued, 178 were extended to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code. This integration with the federal Express Entry system showcases Manitoba’s efforts to align its immigration initiatives with broader Canadian immigration strategies.
