The 14th Express Entry draw of 2023 was held by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on June 8, 2023. Following the previous draw, which took place on May 24, 2023, this was the first draw of June.
Invitations were extended to 4,800 individuals who were part of the most recent Express Entry pool in the June 8, 2023 draw.
Details of the draw:
- Total ITAs issued: 4,800
- Type of draw: No program specified
- Date and time of round: June 08, 2023, 12:08:58 UTC
- CRS cutoff score: 486
- Tie-breaking rule: May 19, 2023, 14:04:00 UTC
The cutoff is determined by considering the date and time that candidates filed their Express Entry profiles if multiple applicants get the lowest score.
This round of invites was open to applicants from all programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
Since the start of 2023, Canada has completed consecutive Express Entry draws with greater ITAs and historically low CRS point totals. In the upcoming years, it’s probable that IRCC will keep trying to entice qualified immigrants to Canada in order to help close the country’s labor shortages.
