
On August 15, 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its third Express Entry draw of the week, issuing 2,000 invitations to candidates with French language proficiency. To be eligible, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 394.

This draw followed two previous draws: on August 14, 3,200 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates were invited with a minimum CRS score of 509, and on August 13, 763 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates received ITAs with a CRS cutoff of 690.
July’s record-breaking number of draws, including four category-based selections, highlights IRCC’s ongoing focus on increasing domestic draws. Notably, July saw 25,000 ITAs issued across nine draws, surpassing previous records.
