
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its second Express Entry draw of 2024 on January 23rd, inviting 1,040 candidates through a general draw. Eligible candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 543. This draw follows the January 10th event, where 1,510 candidates were invited with a minimum CRS score of 546.

In January, IRCC continued the momentum from a busy December, conducting seven separate Express Entry draws. Among these were two all-program draws and five category-based selection draws, targeting candidates with specific skills in trades, transport, STEM, agriculture, and agri-food occupations, as well as French language proficiency.
