
On February 14, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the second Express Entry draw of the week, issuing 3,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the healthcare occupations category. The candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 422.

This draw followed a general draw on February 13, where 1,490 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 535 received ITAs.

Since May 2023, IRCC introduced category-based selection rounds, creating six new categories focusing on specific human capital attributes, including healthcare occupations. Candidates eligible for an Express Entry program must have an application in the pool through one of the three programs to be considered for category-based selection.
