On October 2, 2024, British Columbia held its first Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw of the month, issuing 171 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residency. The draw focused on the Skills Immigration category, aimed at attracting skilled workers to the province.

- Skilled Worker (including EEBC option): Minimum score of 128; 81 ITAs.
- International Graduate : (including EEBC option): Minimum score of 128.
- Entry Level & Semi-Skilled : Minimum score of 110.
- Targeted Draws:
- Childcare: 83 score; 35 ITAs.
- Construction: 89 score; 23 ITAs.: 99 score; 28 ITAs.
- Healthcare: 80 score; fewer than 5 ITAs.
- Veterinary Care: 80 score; fewer than 5 ITAs.
This draw highlights BC’s ongoing efforts to address labor market shortages in key sectors such as healthcare, childcare, and construction while supporting skilled immigrants across various fields.
