New Brunswick has continued its aggressive immigration strategy by issuing 669 invitations to prospective immigrants during a series of draws conducted on June 3 and June 4, 2026. The latest selections targeted individuals with skills and work experience that align with the province’s economic priorities, particularly in sectors facing persistent labour shortages.
The invitations were distributed through several immigration channels, including the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). Together, these pathways support employers across the province while helping qualified foreign nationals move toward permanent residence in Canada.

Focus on Workers Already Established in the Province
The New Brunswick Experience pathway supports foreign workers who have already gained employment with a provincial employer and accumulated qualifying work experience within the province.
Meanwhile, the New Brunswick Graduates pathway provides opportunities for international students who completed eligible studies in New Brunswick and have transitioned into the local labour market through full-time employment.
Francophone Immigration Continues to Gain Momentum
French-speaking newcomers remain an important part of New Brunswick’s immigration strategy. To support this objective, the province invited 146 candidates through two specialized Francophone-focused pathways.

Express Entry Candidates Receive Additional Opportunities
The province also used its Express Entry Stream to invite candidates with existing connections to New Brunswick.
A June 4 selection round resulted in 75 invitations through the Employment in New Brunswick pathway.

The province selected 97 candidates through an Expression of Interest process, targeting individuals employed in occupations identified as critical to regional growth.
