Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently invited 1,470 candidates to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system, on 28th February. The general draw encompassed all Express Entry programs, with candidates needing a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 534.

Details of the draw
This draw follows three others held between February 13-16th, including targeted draws for healthcare agriculture and agri-food occupations. Notably, IRCC confirms that category-based selection rounds introduced in May 2023 will remain unchanged in 2024.
These categories cover healthcare, STEM professions, trades, transport, agriculture, and strong French proficiency.
